Hurt Sesko to Sit Out Slovenian National Team Games but United Hopeful of Swift Return

Forward Benjamin Sesko will miss out on the Slovenian national team's forthcoming fixtures against Kosovo and Sweden because of a knee injury sustained during the recent match against Tottenham. However, the club remains hopeful that he might be back in time to face Everton following the international break.

Knock Details and Recovery Period

The forward was substituted in the 87th minute of Saturday's 2-2 draw with Spurs after being brought on on 58 minutes replacing Noussair Mazraoui. Manager the team's manager expressed concern post-match, leading to Sesko's pull-out from the Slovenia national team.

The club will conduct further tests at their Carrington facility in the coming days, but initial assessments point to a potential return in time for the Everton scheduled for 24 November.

Other Squad Updates

Casemiro and Harry Maguire likewise had to leave the field during the Spurs match. Although the defender's condition remains unclear, it is believed that Casemiro is available and has joined national team commitments for Brazil.

Lisandro Martínez, who has been sidelined since a knee injury in February, will join the Argentine squad at their European training camp. But, the defender won't play in Friday's exhibition match versus Angola at Luanda. A member of United's medical staff will support Martínez, who has lately resumed work with the first-team group.
